RDM Exchange Network

The RDM Exchange Network Austria is a community-driven initiative designed to support Data Stewards and other Research Data Management (RDM) professionals in their crucial role. Data Stewards are experts in RDM, responsible for implementing Data Stewardship in practice by empowering researchers and guiding them in managing their data effectively. Their work is deeply embedded in institutional and disciplinary contexts, taking into account unique cultural factors and available resources. This network serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and best practice sharing, fostering a strong national community dedicated to advancing RDM practices in Austria.

Objective:

  • Strengthen data stewardship practices
  • Facilitate national exchange on Research Data Management (RDM) topics
  • Share best practices and successful examples
  • Foster networking and collaboration opportunities
  • Discuss and stay up to date on current developments in the field
