September 2023 saw the first time that our monthly RIS Office Day took place at the University of Innsbruck. On September 26th and 27th, the project.service.office invited RIS Synergy colleagues to the Technology Campus of the University of Innsbruck. As part of the two-day meeting, we had the opportunity to present the progress made so far in the project to the Vice Rectorate for Research, and to engage in deeper exchange with both the Vice Rectorate and colleagues at the University of Innsbruck. The concept study for a national research portal constituted another focus of the two-day meeting. We discussed new ideas and consolidated content for the concept study. We were also particularly happy about the opportunity to exchange lessons learned and best practices regarding research information systems with the colleagues at the University of Innsbruck.
