At the invitation of the Policy Committee on Research, we presented the Research Data Cluster and its goals and tasks to the Vice Rectors of Research of all Austrian universities on 15 November 2021. This presentation included the three projects “Austrian DataLAB and Services”, “FAIR Data Austria” and “RIS Synergy”. Regarding RIS Synergy, we explained the project status, the results achieved so far, and further plans in more detail – in preparation for the current implementation phase for specific interfaces between universities and funding organisations, and a survey (starting at the beginning of 2022) for the needs analysis as part of the “Research Portal” concept study.
