Over 800 international experts on the topic of research data management from more than 100 countries met in Salzburg at the International Data Week (IDW). The international conference provides a platform for the exchange of the latest findings, proven methods and innovative approaches in the processing, management and application of data. As part of a focussed session, the Research Data Cluster also presented itself as a joint platform for coordinated planning and implementation of national projects in the context of research data management. Representatives of all the projects of the Research Data Cluster gave an insight into the goals and results of the projects and then discussed current challenges and lessons learnt with international representatives of the community.
