This year, RIS Synergy took part in the International Love Data Week, organised by ICPSR and the University of Michigan, with a live event at the University of Vienna. The theme of the week was Data: Agent of Change. Love Data Week is all about inspiring communities to use data to create meaningful change.

Wine, Cheese and Data

Many European countries have already taken the step of setting up a national research portal. In Austria, some attempts in this direction were undertaken in the past but have not been pursued further. RIS Synergy is now working on a concept study for a national research portal.

On the evening of 15 February, 2023, project stakeholders and the general public were invited to a Wine, Cheese and Data event at the Research Services Department of the University of Vienna. Among other things, the audience discussed useful data for a national research portal. The results of the event will feed into RIS Synergy’s concept study.
