On the occasion of the first anniversary of the RIS Synergy public relations working group, a delegation of various project partners travelled to Lake Wörth (Wörthersee) at the invitation of the Research Support Services department at the University of Klagenfurt. For two days, the team developed measures to increase awareness of persistent identifiers, and communication measures for the concept study for a national research portal. The PR working group can look back on an eventful year with numerous national and international networking activities, such as participating in the euroCRIS conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and in the symposium of the Research Data Cluster in Vienna, Austria.
Thanks to the excellent planning and preparation of our colleagues in Klagenfurt, we could make plans and strategies for the next year – all in a pleasant atmosphere.
Once again it shows that interdisciplinary and interinstitutional exchange is the key to the success of RIS Synergy.
