“Data Steward” certificate programme at the University of Vienna: Review of the first two years

The education and training of data stewards is increasingly becoming a key topic in the expansion of research support services in Austria and internationally. In the upcoming webinar entitled “Certificate program “Data Steward” at the University of Vienna: Review of the first two years”, you will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the origins and development of this further education offer.

Learn more about the exciting beginnings and the development of the first continuing education program for data stewards in Austria. The program integrates current findings in the field of research data management, open science and open research, which are seamlessly linked to the practical tasks of data stewards at research institutions. More than 50 people from over 10 different countries have already successfully participated in the first two rounds of this course. The webinar will not only present the valuable experiences and insights of the organizing team, but also discuss the feedback of the participants. In addition, you will gain an insight into the planned next steps and developments of this program.
