The CRIS2024 took place from 15-17 May 2024 at TU Wien. It is the 16th conference in a series of international, biennial events organised by euroCRIS on the topic of research information systems (abbreviated to CRIS: current research information systems). The aim of the series is to improve the availability of and access to research information systems throughout Europe. This year’s event focussed on the current trend towards international cooperation in the field of RIS. The conference was organised by euroCRIS in collaboration with the RIS Synergy project and took place for the most part in the atmospheric Kuppelsaal at TU Wien.
As the topics of research data management and RIS are closely related, our poster on DAMAP was accepted for the conference. And that’s not all: It was – on a par with the RIS Synergy contribution – voted the best poster of the conference! We also had the opportunity to present DAMAP to interested people in a practical tutorial. The tutorial was a good experience for us trainers as well as for the participants and we are looking forward to organising more workshops of this kind in the future.
