RIS Synergy, a project funded by the BMBWF as part of the ‘Digital and Social Transformation in Higher Education’ call, has come to an end after a period of 4 years and 10 months. Around 80 participants attended the final event, taking place on 5 March 2025 at TUtheSky, with a project presentation, panel discussion and a festive conclusion.
The presentation looked back at the project’s history, from the idea to the goals and, finally, the project’s outcomes and results. The team also presented a plan on how the continuation and consolidation of the RIS Synergy results and products will go forward in the future. The RIS Synergy short film also offered an informative overview of the project results.
This item on the day’s agenda was followed by an inspiring panel discussion on the topic of “Sustainable digitisation of services for science” with discussants from university institutions, funding organisations and politics.
The evening was rounded off with a convivial gathering that invited further interesting discussions against the beautiful backdrop of the Vienna skyline as seen from the TUtheSky rooftop terrace.
