The last RDM in Austria webinar before the summer break gives an insight into the work of ZAMG, the Austrian institute for meteorology and geodynamics.
Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik (ZAMG) was founded in 1851 and has a wide variety of historical and current data sources at its disposal – from handwritten climate sheets to satellite images and the Internet of Things.
In this webinar, you will learn what makes data management at such an institution special. This includes specific data formats and very large data volumes as well as a long tradition of international agreements and legal obligations for open data exchange. The new ZAMG Data Hub will be presented as well.
